Frequently Asked Questions

Great question! Yes, you’re welcome to bring friends or even a group of friends to the festival. This year, we’ve expanded the allowance, so feel free to bring more people along. However, if you plan to bring more than 5 guests per person, we kindly ask that you contact us beforehand. This is to ensure we can accommodate everyone without exceeding our festival capacity. Remember, every attendee must have a ticket, so be sure to secure tickets for each of your friends as well.

We’re committed to making the festival an incredible experience for all attendees. Should you wish to bring a large group, reaching out to us will help us make the necessary arrangements. We’re here to assist and ensure everyone has a memorable time.

 best to help out.

At the Backyard Skull Festival, we firmly believe that music and community should be inclusive, accessible to all, regardless of financial constraints. That’s why we’ve chosen not to set fixed ticket prices for our event. Instead, we suggest a donation of 20 Euros per ticket, though any amount you can contribute is deeply appreciated. Your donation, whether big or small, helps us continue to curate unforgettable musical experiences for our festival community. Join us in this incredible journey, where every contribution ensures the beat goes on. Thank you for being a part of our vibrant community!

If you’re looking to fully enjoy the festival without camping, preferring to stay in a hotel or at home, then the non-camping ticket is perfect for you.

For the complete festival experience with an overnight stay at the festival site, you should go for the camping ticket.

This year, we’ve introduced an important change for those of you planning to arrive with a caravan: there is now a special ticket for caravan camping. This ticket is required per caravan in order to reserve a pitch.

We want to make sure everyone can get to the festival with ease, so we’ve provided several transportation options to choose from. The most convenient way to get here is by car, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry!

If you need to commute and don’t have your own transportation, feel free to get in touch with us. We’ll do our best to arrange a ride for you, or help you coordinate with other festival attendees. Our team is committed to making your journey as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Another transportation option is the train. For more information see the questions below.

Yes, it is possible to arrive a day earlier on Thursday after 6 PM. However, please note that there won’t be any dinner prepared on Thursday. But don’t worry, we’ll be making a collective pizza order for the group. So feel free to arrive on Thursday and start settling in early!

The nearest train station is in Geilenkirchen.

Our team is dedicated to making sure you have a safe and convenient journey to the festival, and we’ll do what we can to assist you.

To arrange a lift, simply contact us with your arrival time and any other details we may need to know. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible with information on your transportation arrangements.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be providing dinner each day of the festival! Our menu includes a range of delicious options, including vegetarian and vegan choices, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, we’ll have a variety of soft drinks, water, and beer on tap to keep you refreshed throughout the day.

For lunch, we’ll have leftovers available for those who want them, but if we run out, don’t worry! We can arrange a collective pizza order for the group. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the festival knowing that we’ve got your lunch covered.

Please note that breakfast is not included in our food service, but we encourage attendees to bring their own breakfast items. There are also shops nearby where you can purchase any additional snacks or drinks you may need.

We can’t wait to share our delicious meals with you and make your festival experience even more enjoyable!

We want to keep you updated on this year’s festival arrangements. Due to increased costs, we unfortunately have to introduce a small fee for food and drinks. Our aim is to offer a wide range of delicious options, including vegetarian and vegan choices, at the lowest possible cost.

Non-alcoholic beverages, water, and beer will be available. We are currently finalizing the details as we need to carefully review the legal situation. There’s a possibility that we may require a license, even for a private event. We will inform you about the prices and options as soon as everything is conclusively clarified.

Please note that lunch options will be available for purchase, including the possibility of a collective pizza order, where each participant pays for their own order.

Breakfast is not included, but we encourage you to bring your own food or visit nearby shops for snacks and drinks.

Thank you for your understanding as we make these adjustments. Stay tuned for further updates, and we appreciate your support for the festival!

We’re happy to offer our attendees access to clean and refreshing showers, restrooms, and changing rooms. It’s important to us that everyone has a comfortable and hygienic space to freshen up and get ready for the day’s activities.

We kindly ask that all attendees help us maintain these facilities by keeping them clean and tidy. Please dispose of any trash properly and be mindful of others who will be using the same space.

We also want to remind everyone to be respectful of each other’s privacy while using the facilities. We understand that it can be crowded at times, but please be patient and give each other space.

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere at our festival. We hope you have a fantastic time!

Yes, you can bring your caravan for camping! However, please keep in mind that caravans can only be set up in the designated parking lot, and there won’t be any power hookups available. We recommend to ensure that your caravan has a self-sustaining power source. (Battery/Solar Panels)

The line up will be released soon.
